This course provides a foundation in governmental accounting as it applies in the school district environment and prepares participants for continued learning through WASBO's School Accounting 1, School Accounting 2, and School Accounting 3 courses.

📚 Complete Course Materials
Information about class access and course resources will be provided approximately one week before the course begins. Participants should review and complete assigned presentations, activities, quizzes, and coursework as instructed each week.
🎓 Professional Development

Successful completion of Introduction to School Accounting qualifies for 15 clock hours/CPE credit hours.

Participants must meet all attendance and course completion requirements to receive credit.

Please note: In the event of an unsuccessful completion or withdrawal from the course, WASBO may contact the registrant's supervisor regarding student progress.

📌 Cancellation Policy

  • 30 or more days before the course: 50% refund of the registration fee
  • 29 or fewer days before the course: No refund

No-shows are not eligible for a refund. If a participant does not attend and has not notified the WASBO Team in advance, their district will be notified.

Name substitutions and applicable location changes will be accepted up to 10 working days prior to the event.
